Anyone been? My sister in law and her hubby are taking us on Friday. They're both "g-men" so I guess it's a big haunt of both their types and congressmen.

My wife used to go there pretty often when we were doing more work with the leftie non-profit lobbying sector.

She says get seafood, and reminisces about seeing her first-ever episode of Iron Chef on the bar TV.

It's a fun, historic, loud place. Enjoy the trip.

My report is that we were foiled by a sick child! We got half way into DC from Chantilly and had to turn back around! Perhaps on the next go round, as we leave tomorrow. But we did hit the air and space museum annex and it was SO much better than the original one downtown. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. They had a Concorde, the discovery shuttle, the enola gay... And it was clean and way less crowded.

Lived in DC for three years... that's a great description.

I'd go back, but certainly don't dream of it.
