Best Section at Slugger for Thunder?

by Deb Hall » Tue Mar 12, 2013 10:40 am

We have been meaning to go to Slugger for Thunder/ Air show with our 8 year old and I think this is the year. Can those of you familiar suggest the best section( s) for viewing? I have no idea what the sight lines are.

Thanks!

Depends, if you are going to watch the game, the third base side is more desirable as the first base side is in the sun all day. But the first base side does face the river. Really it doesn't matter much as there are some prime viewing spots in the outfield too. I would suggest trying to stake out a spot at one of the picnic tables on the left field deck but these are not reserved. Hope that helps!

Thanks, Dan! Hate to admit it, but we are going for airshow and fireworks- not really the game. That's great advice- thanks!
