Caffe Classico adding Main Street location

by Rich S » Tue Mar 05, 2013 12:57 am

The city approved a small-business loan last week for Caffe Classico. I didn't see any indication of when the new location will open:

- $40,000 loan to Caffe Roma, LLC, located at 400 E. Main Street. The loan will allow owner Claudia Mudd to open a second location of Caffe Classico, which will be located across the street from Slugger Field. The project will create 6 full-time and 4 part-time positions.

There was a sandwich shop there for a short time about a year ago. It was awful. Cafe Classico should give a needed lift to a block struggling to fill vacancies.

According to Google Maps, yes. It was originally Blue Mountain and then a sandwich place (I don't recall the name).
