Thanks for the props guys! I'm basing my class upon things that people can easliy find at any of the local supermarkets and that are afforable and easy! I'm still working up my ideas but I think I'm going to demonstrate how to prepare mussels, a dish with tilapia or basa and a salmon dish. I will have a couple of recipes on hand to pass out to the more culinary challenged. I personally haven't used a recipe in years, but I do look at them for ideas. What I'm really focusing on is the techiques you can use to prepare a couple of different fishies besides deep frying or simply baking. My session will start promply at 11:45 in the basement kitchen and I'm expecting a pretty good turn out, so you may want to arrive early to secure a prime viewing area. I hope to see many of my forumite friends there!
