As a "non-native" resident, I found these particular answers to resonate particularly well...

You think the only way fish is or can be prepared is fried with tartar sauce on rye bread. —Dan Thomas

I no longer even try to order a fish sammich in this town...Seriously, you tell the server/counter-person that you don't want your fish between two pieces of cold rye bread and their fricking eyes glaze over and they look at you like you're from outer-freaking-space..

You think it’s a crime to suggest that everything in Louisville may not be perfect just the way it is.

Seriously...ya'll do this a lot. Look at poor Phil for example...his ass is probably STILL healing over from the ass-chewing ya'll gave him for suggesting Bardstown Rd might could be improved.

You feel wronged and outraged when a dusting of snow does not result in the cancellation of school/work.

Three years and I'm still trying to figure out this whole cancel school if snow is even in the forecast thing. It's snow...all ya gotta do is slow the "f" down and you'll be fine.

You talk about how Louisville is better then Austin, Texas, or Portland, Ore.

Anything anywhere is better than anything in Texas...but Portland ? I dunno. Personally I'm waiting for the producers of "Portlandia" to discover Louisville...Now THAT would make for some great TV.

Your highest priority each day is voting for Louisville in a meaningless “Best Southern Food” poll and harassing your friends with “VOTE!!! We’re so close!!!” each day.

Yeah, this -did- get a little old after a while, especially after we discovered <eh-hem> those Louisiana style voting irregularities.

The only thing worse would have been Chicago style voting irregularities!

Was anyone else intrigued yet a bit scared of this Heyward Boyce character?

I will say that after reading all of these, I came up with my own.....

"You are so Louisville if you recognize roughly half of the names of the people who sent in submissions!"

But my personal fav is "Your skinny jeans are tight, your beer is local, and your beard is glorious. "—Amy Wathen

You know you are so Louisville if you claim as friends a fair number of people who respond to the "You Are So Louisville If..." LEO contest.

Heyward is one of a kind. I ran into him recently and he asked me this "You Are So Louisville IF" question. Knowing him, his submissions are an amalgamation of what people told him. I can't remember what I offered, but I don't think he found it funny. He's dabbled in stand-up and can be quite funny (and crude).

And there's Amy, being the hipster that she is.

If your directions start with "You know the old Sears building . . . "

You're provincial enough to think that craft beer, skinny jeans, and beards are somehow local to Louisville?

I know that was mean, but also, I think, true.

I definitely don't think that phrase is exclusive to Louisville. I just love a glorious beard and thought it was a cute statement.

The other one I submitted that they didn't use was. Traffic lights turning yellow really mean speed up and if it turns red, it's a mere suggestion that you stop.

when someone mentions using a turn signal, you get a far away confused look in your eye.
