Women's Haircuts-St. Matthews or Crescent Hill

by Ellen White » Tue Jun 07, 2011 10:38 am

My current haircut person at Medusa only works on Saturdays, so it is really hard to get an appointment since she is booked in advance, and she is in nursing school and will be leaving when she finishes school. Therefore, I need a new place to get a haircut. I live in St. Matthews near Target. I want to stay in St. Matthews or Crescent Hill or downtown (which is where I work). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Jessica Cohen at Twisted Salon has been mine ( and my better half) for quite a while. They are on St Mathews Ave 896-0722
She does a great job!

My friend, Rick Bancroft, is at Fierce Salon on Clover Lane, and he's great. 896-0757

I also go to Jessica Cohen at Twisted and like her very much. Seems to do both long and short hair well. Would highly recommend her.

I see Jazz Fodale, the owner of Images on Grinstead and Lexington. I trusted her with my wedding hair and cutting off 10 inches last December.

I've been seeing Trina at Twisted for probably 10 years now.

I go to Janis at Studio 151 (151 Thierman Lane). Super friendly people!!!! They even have evening hours, though they fill up fast. You'd be looking at the $40-$50 price range. I have really thick hair, and Janis is able to keep it in shape and easy to take care of. Once, I did not get it cut as short as I wanted, and I came back, and she cut it again at no charge. Their number is 897-2151

I also used to go to Studio 151 and saw Teresa. She did a fine job doing my hair, but only left because her prices kept climbing. I just can't pay $45 before tip for cuts.

Adding to the chorus of voices, Mary just loves Jenny at Icons, which used to be on Baxter near Spinelli's but has moved to 3306 Frankfort Ave.
