Movie: Temple Grandin

This played on HBO some time back and I missed it. Just enjoyed it via Netflicks. It is a "must see" for anyone with an interest in autism, especially for any parent whose child may be autistic. Claire Danes in her best performance ever. The movie is long on courage and determination and short on schmaltz and pity. Fine flick.

I LOVED that movie. I also have a child "on the spectrum" so a few tears were shed during the movie. It is so true "different, not less"! I highly recommend everyone to see this movie. Claire Dane deserved every award received.

Saw this movie as a family, my 12 & 14 year old daughters liked it as well. Such a touching movie. As a mother i was very emotional watching it. One of my favorite scenes is when she sings at her graduation.........even my husband got a little misty.

i highly recommend this movie.
