Baristas Needed to Live Life, Have Fun and Make Coffee!!

by LV Coffee » Sun Aug 24, 2008 4:27 pm

We are currently hiring full time/part time baristas for our coffeehouse and roastery in Westport Village (the ol' Camelot Village)

Must be happy, fun, friendly, passionate about coffee and tea, willing to learn and able to multi-task. We take our coffee and tea very seriously and only people with a desire for the same should apply.

We are a fun place to work and treat our customers and our employees with great respect. Experience in the food service industry helpful but not required. A passion for the coffee and tea processes, a desire to learn, ability to work with others and ethusiasm about customers and life is a must.

Please don't apply if you are shy or just want to be an 'order taker'. This is restaurant work and cleaning is required.

References and a great track record will be verified.

Does this fall under the "Real Name" discussion that continues to list at the top of the board?

Ooops ... the moderator (me) approved that one assuming that L. V. Coffee was someone's real name. I won't make a huge deal out of it on a one-time basis, but if Mr. or Ms. "Coffee" intends to become a regular here (and we hope he/she will), we'll work that out.

I do have a friend interested in this - Is the business actually LV Coffee, or is there another company name? I'd like to forward the information to her.

Bill is close ... I believe it's La Vida Java, in Westport Village not far from the new Napa River Grill.

Couldn't resist, for the love of old landmarks!

Robin's right, this would be La Vida Java at Westport Village. But I'm sure it was not intentional to violate the "real names"policy. This is a family owned and run business with great owners- I'm sure it would be a great place to work! ( They roast their own beans on-site and Brian is addicted to their coffee).
