Kitchen Manager Job Summary:

Supervises and coordinates activities concerning all back-of-the-house operations and personnel, including food preparation, kitchen and storeroom areas. Trains and evaluates back-of-house personnel.
Purchases or requisitions food items, supplies and equipment. Plans or participates in menu planning and food production and apportions meat, vegetables and desserts, as well as food surpluses, to control costs. Supervises food preparation personnel to ensure food adheres to Bristol's standards of quality. Supervises and assists with maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen and equipment. Prepares high quality food and fills in as needed to meet the demands of the restaurant's needs.

Line Cook Job Summary:

Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
