Monnik Beer Co is located in historic Schnitzelberg and the beers and menu reflect the style of a neighborhood Euro style pub. We are seeking experienced line and prep cooks to execute upscale comfort pub fare with emphasis on daily specials, using ethically and sustainably raised proteins, as well as utilizing our local produce bounties.
We ask our applicants to have the following skills/qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years experience in a line style kitchen; would train less experienced cooks who worked up from porter/dish
-Open availability
-Some experience with creating specials "on the fly" based on product availability most welcome
-Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs
-Collaborative and team oriented attitude, able to work with team members of varying experience and backgrounds
-Adaptive mentality; opening restaurants go through many, many changes, often last minute!
