Sweet Surrender Dessert Cafe is seeking a full time baker/cake decorator. We are a high volume bakery, looking for someone creative and efficient to help with our special order cakes, wedding cakes, and day to day happenings.

Applicants must have decorating experience and a minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred. An up to date portfolio of your work must be available. Some of the things we would like to see in your portfolio include experience decorating tiered cakes and carved 3D cakes. Sweet Surrender works primarily with buttercream decorated cakes, rather than fondant, so examples of your buttercream flat-icing should also be included.

-Knowledge of standard baking conversions
-Time management & multi-tasking skills
-Ability to execute recipes consistently and efficiently
-Willingness to receive direction and constructive criticism.

Sweet Surrender is open Tuesday through Saturday with the occasional Sunday required for special events and weddings.
