Custom Food Solutions (CFS) is seeking an Executive Chef in Louisville, Kentucky. The appointed candidate would also serve as Corporate Chef for Tumbleweed Southwest Grill.
In order to be considered, the ideal candidate must possess:
• Culinary degree
• R&D experience
• Chain restaurant experience
• Interest and knowledge in "emerging food trends"
• Professional appearance
Extra consideration will be given to candidates who also possess:
• Food manufacturing experience
• A gregarious personality
• A "whatever it takes" attitude
• “Southwest” menu experience
Executive/Corporate Chef will perform duties that include (but are not limited to):
• Creation and maintenance of CFS product portfolio
• Matching or creating products for current & potential customers
• Presenting products to current & potential customers
• Presenting new menu ideas to the Tumbleweed Menu Team
• Facilitating meetings and ideations with the Tumbleweed Menu Team
• Conducting and scoring sensory analysis and product triangulations
• Coordination of product specs for photo shoots
• Participation in public presentations (Secrets of Louisville Chefs, Cast Iron Chef Competition, etc.)
Annual salary range is $45,000-$55,000 depending upon experience. Custom Food Solutions offers paid vacations, 401k, flex spending, health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and Tumbleweed Meal Card. If relocation is required it will be done at your expense.
