NAIVE is a new vegetable-centric concept coming to Louisville this Winter! We are passionate about real food, sustainability, and delicious plates. We see the world as a place of hope. We are seeking a highly creative culinary leader with a proven record of menu development, cost management, and comprehensive kitchen execution to join our team as Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the kitchen team, ensuring compliance with brand standards in all areas of operation, including food preparation and execution, customer experience, inventory management, kitchen team training and scheduling, food cost management, ensuring that the highest levels of quality are delivered to each customer, implementing ambitious sustainability practices, and other duties as required or assigned.

Our seasonal menu is designed to highlight local produce by creating elevated, crave-able, vegetable-centric dishes at everyday affordable prices. The Kitchen Manager will be comfortable working closely with our Culinary Director to develop new menu items.
We source our produce locally directly from independent organic farmers in Kentucky and southern Indiana. The Kitchen Manager will be comfortable placing weekly orders directly with 10+ independent farmers, and adapt sourcing to availability as needed.


Requirements:
You have 4+ years of high volume culinary experience.
You have 2+ years of high volume kitchen leadership experience.
You have a current Food Service Manager's Certification.
You share our passion for real food, sustainability, and delicious plates.
You are a leader with strong interpersonal skills capable of motivating others.
You have strong knowledge and skill sets in all phases of food production and service, including par inventory management expertise, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and service and production time standards.
You have strong verbal and written communications skills and are able to effectively communicate operational information among team members.
You are comfortable using a computer, navigating Windows and Microsoft Office, Point of Sale System and Outlook Email.
You have a willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.
Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or similar preferred.
