The Greater Cincinnati Originals Invite You to Kick-Off the Season with "The Original Spring Mix" Event!

Join the Greater Cincinnati Originals (GCO) group as they hold their annual event on Wednesday, May 9th, 2006 from 6:30 to 10 PM at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State College, http://culinary.cincinnatistate.edu/ . The chefs from the Cincinnati chapter of the national group Dine Originals http://www.dineoriginals.com will be on hand to tantalize your taste buds with a five course dinner and wine pairings fit for royalty. Guests will have a chance to meet the chefs and ask questions during the Q & A portion of the evening hosted by Amy Tobin of Q 102's Amy's Table Show and EQ at the Party Source. GCO will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Tatiana de Cavel Scholarship program at the college designed to help culinary students pay for tuition and fees.

As a special treat, a Chef's Community Table in the President's Dining Room will be available for those "foodies" who like to mingle and dine on fantastic cuisine. Each celebrity chef will sit at the table during their course to answer any questions or chat about the dish they created. A great treat for anyone interested in great food, great company and great chefs!

The Original's group is a collective and collaborative mix of independently owned and operated restaurateurs. These amazing restaurants fill the senses with authentic cuisine from around the world while retaining "Hometown pride" by supporting the Greater Cincinnati community. The inclusive cost is $150 per person for the main dining room and $175 per person for the Chef's Community Table in advance on the web site http://www.cincinnatioriginals.com . Make sure to mark your calendar and order tickets now as there are only 90 seats available for this fun-filled event! If you would like to buy tickets by phone please call 513.605.4700 ext. 18 and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

The list of phenomenal restaurants includes: Andy's Mediterranean Grille, Behle Street Café, Bella Luna, Brown Dog Café, Daveed's at 934, Encore Bistro & Bar, The Grand Café, Jean-Robert at Pigall's, Jean-Robert's Pho Paris, Jimmy D's Steakhouse, Kona Bistro, Mesh, Mike & Jimmy's Chophouse Grille, Montgomery Inn Boathouse, Nicholson's, O'Bryon's Irish Pub, One Restaurant & Lounge, Polo Grille, Pompilios, Pub at Crestview Hills, Red Restaurant, Universal Grille and Vinyl. GCO would also like to thank Heidelberg Distributors for sponsoring this extraordinary event!

Parking is available in the Central Parkway garage and guests will enter the new culinary building to be guided to the dining room. So come out and support your local flavor and enjoy the cool cuisine of some of the city's brightest culinary stars. Break the chain, Dine Original!
