Suggestions for north side

by Dave L » Sun Apr 20, 2008 8:45 am

My girlfriend and I are going to Cincy next week for a few days. We'd like to have a few restaurants in mind for the trip. So far, Breugger's bagels are a must (I only know of downtown location), but we will be mostly on the northern side of the city. We are planning visits to Jungle Jim's, IKEA, and Loveland for the bike trail. So far, Pappdeaux looks good to me, but where else on this end of town? We would like something casual and interesting with good vegetarian choices, either lunch or dinner. Finally, is there anyplace for live music on a Monday night? We are not terribly concerned with music style. Of course there will be the pilgimmage to the Hofbrahaus, but we really don't want to go to the Newport area (been there done that).

Thanks!

The area out by Jungle Jim's has some great ethnic restaurants. Try Taqueria Mercado or Sabor Peruvian.
