Suggestions for Asheville, NC

We're hitting the Biltmore as I've never been. I'd like to experience some of the Art/Craft scene I hear so much about, but not sure the best way to approach that or where to go. Also would love restaurant suggestions of course, esp for dinner (not too $$) TIA

Also, I forgot to address the arts/crafts part of the question but we love to walk around the River Arts District in West Asheville. Lots of studios/artists to check out. Stop by Wedge Studios for a beer if you are into that, most days they have a food truck out back as well. If you do end up down there, definitely check out Mother Bread and Wine - they are open Thurs-Sun. It's a tiny little spot with amazing bread. Grab a slab of their focaccia of the day or a sourdough pretzel. Super small, super cute. Highly recommend. I've only been once but had a slab of pistachio, ricotta and lemon focaccia that I still can't stop thinking about months later. lol

Do you know if that is also where they hold the drum circle? No, the drum circle is in Pritchard Park which is downtown.
