Tucson

Greetings. Taking a ( free) trip in 3 weeks to Dove Mountain resort, a Ritz property. Its close to Tucson and we’ll be in the city for two meals. I’m dieting now, cause I want some authentic chow and I’m seeing some terrific mom and pop places on Yelp. Anyone have any special recommendations?

Linda, I visited Tucson in the early '90s and spent time at a really great nonprofit that's cultivating and encouraging the use of native seeds from the Tohono O'odham nation. All I can recall about food at this late date, though, is that I ate nothing but Mexican food while I was there, and it all tasted really good to me. :)

I thought I’d never get tired of pizza till I spent 16 days in Italy, lol. But 6 days of non-stop Mexican food sounds fine to me!!
