We're headed for an overnight in Indianapolis in Sept. Any suggestions on where to eat, where to stay, etc. My Indy knowledge is sparse.

Robin, we haven't gone to Indy for years, but Shapiro's is highly recommended as the kind of real Jewish deli that we can't get in Louisville, and - unless this has changed, the Broad Ripple neighborhood north of downtown is (or was, a few years ago) sort of the Highlands of Indy, although not as interesting to my memory.

I hope you get better advice from others with more recent info.

Santorini's is the best Greek food we have had in quite a while. They have an extensive menu and everything was great.
