Looking for Saturday lunch suggestions in Lexington?
Or, would I be better off stopping at Rick's White Light in Frankfort?

TIA

This place is not to be missed.

Rick's is an experience, and I got a kick out of it. You need to understand what it is and go in with the right attitude, though. The prices are high by diner standards (although he does use quality materials); the venue is "spartan," and Rick is a curmudgeon in his own right, but a very funny guy. Some people who weren't expecting those things might come away cranky.

I'm not going to say it's better than any place in Lexington - that would be ridiculous. But I'm really glad I ran across it, and for what it's worth, I went there for lunch during two different trips to Lexington rather than dining in LEX.

Well, I WAS going to highly recommend The Garden Cafe at the Flag Fork Herb Farm. but they closed in September 2011 and sold the place!!!

Boo hoo...

I could use a slice of their lemon geranium pound cake right now...

Well, one can always take the leisurely way in and detour to Wallace Station.
