Thanks for the recommendations.
We ended up at Peter Luger per Robin's suggestion. Robin, your "old school" description fits this place perfectly and was exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for the newest fad in dining, you will be very disappointed here. This was one of the best steaks I've had. I also went back for lunch and really enjoyed their pot roast special.
John - Smith and Wollensky is one of my favorites from back home. When I lived in Las Vegas, it was one of my go to places. The Vegas location is in a freestanding location, which is rare there. Its a nice option if you want to avoid the casino hassle. I am heading back to Vegas early next year and can't wait to get their marinated cajun ribeye.
The food highlight of the trip was Lombardi's Pizza. Hands down the best pizza I have ever had.
