Just back from Chicago (again)

This time, I played Mom chaperone while teens did Lollapallooza. If you are flying solo, have your meal at the bar at Frontera. However, Frontera Fresca in Macy's is fantastic and a great find.

I stumbled on this little restaurant by the Hostel and Roosevelt University called Cafecito

Look at those prices! The sandwiches were large and delicious. I didn't have room for the black bean soup but it looked great. We went to YOLK for brunch- my goodness the portions were HUGE, but it was a good way to fill up!

Next month is our annual Chicago food fest where we do nothing for 3 days but entertain clients and try out new restaurants. This year, we're trying Quay- which is really a neat looking place.
