We're traveling to the Dordogne region for two weeks in a couple weeks. If anyone has any suggestions for dining and wineries to visit, please chime in. We'll be at Sarlat and the area for one week, St Emilion and Bordeaux for the other week.

We are back from Bordeaux and the Dordogne region and if anyone wants to see our pics or read my trip report it is here:

I can't believe how much freakin' foie gras you see in the Dordogne region. They put duck or goose on everything. My husband didn't mind, but I was seriously having trouble finding dishes in some places! However, once we got closer to Bordeaux, the seafood was amazing. We had a blast visiting wineries as well- much different than CA. Duh. Great wine and CHEAP! At least some of it, Chateau Margaux, not so much!
