Natural Casings for Homemade Sausage

by Linda B » Thu Mar 06, 2008 11:30 am

Wanted to share this resource with the forum. I met a woman who sells natural casings & netting for sausage making.
The company is Quality Casing & Netting, P. O. Box 229, Hebron, KY 41048. Her name is Paula Kelso and her number is
1-800-328-8701. Website is http://www.qualitycasing.com, email--qnc@qualitycasing.com.

She said she was going to talk to Whole Foods about carrying the products but that we could contact her directly if interested.

Thanks for the post, Linda. I've been looking for a local source of casings other than the Bass Pro Shop. They seem rather pricey. Hebron is a bit of a drive with gas at $3 plus. Do you know if they have a catalog and will sell very small quantities? The website looks like a more commercial type of place. Also, if you hear of anyone selling sausage making or meat curing products in this immediate area, please post.
Is that a raw fish in your pocket or are you just glad sashimi?
