This is probably an easy question to answer for all you gourmet (and not-so-gourmet) chefs... How long can you keep boiled eggs if they are still in their shells?
It seems that I read somewhere, it's a handy time saver to hard boil a batch of eggs all at once, then refrigerate them for a quick snack later.
What's the correct method of storing them and what is their (refrigerator) shelf life?
A side question - is there a spell checker (besides my handy dictionary) for these posts?

Type your post into Word or whatever word processing software you use, then run spell check on it from there and copy into your post here. Hope this helps.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.
For my own personal use, I've been known to go two weeks (particularly around Easter). Don't know what the official "food safety" answer is, but I've never had any problem. Eat any that crack during cooking first.
I store mine loose in an open tupperware container for easy access.
