horseradish

My daughter and I have loosely categorized your cool if you order straight horseradish with your prme rib or any other dish. It has occasionally been proven wrong. Does horseradish loose its heat after time. We use Tulfkoffs and it kicks - have another in my fridge that has been sitting for awhile and is almost like saurkraut. Did it just get tired.

What you think is "straight" horseradish is 99% of the time prepared with vinegar. It will lose some of it's kick after awhile.

If you have ever had a fresh horseradish root and grated it

you would defiantly see the difference between the two.
