Bialetti cookware

by Andrew Mellman » Mon Jan 30, 2012 10:59 am

Has anyone used this? They are nano-ceramic coated pans (and pots), relatively inexpensive ($25-60 depending on size), and from the sales film are the next best thing to sliced bread! Supposedly they have been sold in Italy for years.

Check out http://www.bialettishop.com/CookwarePotsPans.htm

I'm thinking about new stuff, and this at least sounds good.

I've been considering them. Have had several Bialetti pans in the past including a workhorse 35cm job that's held up for 10 years. Not sure what the wear and tear is on this nano stuff though.

On edit: Just read the Amazon reviews. Mixed bag and many said the nano-ceramic fails after a few months of moderate use.
