I would go to Heimerdinger's-- or have him call them to order a great knife.. They are extremely knowledgable helpful local merchants. By the way they also gave knife sets to all graduates of the Culinary Training Program at the Salvation Army... Good people w/ good products.. :D

I agree! Heimerdinger is an excellent, longtime local family firm with knowledgeable people. On the other hand, Cooking at the Cottage is local, too, and Linda and Mark are fellow forumites ... ;)
