Penzeys.....

i am going to try out Penzeys but trying to decide between BBQ 3000 and Galena Street Rub. Is the galena too spicy for kids? i am wanting something that i would probably use mainly on chicken and pork.

The Galena St rub is a nice product...I've used in on occasion and don't really think it adds any noticeable "heat". I wouldn't recommend the Chili 300 as a "rub" and I (personally) don't care for it too much in my Chili...Nor the Chili 9000 <shrugs> Just too much going on in both of them for my tastes. If I were to recommend one Penzy's seasoning blend it would be the "Northwoods" seasoning (NOT Northwoods Fire)
