Ice

by Brad Keeton » Thu May 05, 2011 11:10 am

Is there somewhere (preferably convenient to the Highlands) I can buy chipped/shaved ice? I'm making a good number of juleps on Saturday, and don't want to beat the ice cubes by hand.

Doesn't Kroger sell bagged ice in both cubes and chipped? I know they used to, but I might be thinking '80s here ...

If true, that would certainly be convenient. We live a block from the Highlands Kroger.

Great work, Annemarie. I still need the booze, so that is convenient.

You can also buy the crushed ice from sonic by the bag. I could chomp on that all day long. Especially if it's soaked with alcohol

Dear Lord I love the little pellet ice that skating rinks like to use. I think Sonic has the same kind. It made it easier to fish the cherry out of my limeade!
