I think it's amazing what the quality of a photo can do for spit.

Peeler for tomatoes......

by KDunn » Fri Aug 17, 2007 10:32 pm

You all must go to Campbell's Gourmet Cottage for the new "Soft Skin" peeler. It peels tomatoes, kiwi, etc. No joke. Perfectly peeled tomatoes, without boiling water... etc.

Having just learned how to "put up" tomatoes the old fashioned way, I think this is a great tool.......

My wife and I, are having decorating battles in our new home. And I would love to have a "customized" mixer in my new kitchen..

I was told that the flame decals on Alton Brown's Kitchen Aid mixer were found in a motorcycle shop (gas tank decals) like these, and you can also use helmet decals like these

They are also on ebay when you search Kitchenaid mixer. I was looking for a replacement part (too cheap to pay retail!) and several colors of flames and cow decals came up.

I am going to a craft store or hobby shop to look for something for my Kitchenaid!

Bed, bath and Beyond have this pepper mill that carries 4 AAAA cell batteries.
Turn it upside down and it grinds away. Comes loaded with red, green.white and black pepper corns.

Great for Pic-nics

It does work great, but you will still need a regular one potatoes and hard shell stuff. Really nice to have especially if you only want to peel one or two tomatoes.

Decals for your mixer were recently advertised in a magazine directing you to the following website: flameka.com. The decals are about $20.00

Flames

by Ross B. » Fri Sep 14, 2007 11:32 am

For anyone pimping their KitchenAid in any way, please send an email from http://www.flameKA.com so I can post it on my site.

Will have more this holiday, hopefully the flying tiger one also. As to getting some decals at a craft store, avoid the water decals, decals without a laminate cover (can't be washed often), and magnets, I tried those and the quality wasn't very good so I didn't mind losing mine to the KA warranty (I burned through 3 with bread). That's essentially why I started making and selling them.
