For some reason I tend to (unwittingly) pick dates that coincide with U of L games. Since that starts at 9, and Gary has a show at 8, I'm all for doing it relatively early. In truth, its kind of a small place, so we might want to check and see how busy they typically are on Saturday to ensure that we can all fit comfortably. As for the game, I'm sure whatever bar we go to afterward will have it playing. How long will it take you to get to wherever you're going, Gary? It typically doesn't take terribly long to eat there.

Also, here's the list so far:

Suzi Bernert
Steve and Sandy
Marsha L and John
Ed Vermillion
Mandy R
Robin and Mary
Gary F
Joel H
Doogy R
Alan H
Bill Veneman
Jesse Hendrix-Inman

Whoops! I just received an invite for a dear frineds retirement party that evening. So unless we are congregating at 3:00, mark me off the list. So sorry,

Marsha, you need to check with Duncan on weaponry. Scottish broadsword, french rapier, samurai sword or Arthurian broadsword could be loaned. Dirk, mace, lance, shield and scimitar are also available. He also volunteers as your second, if needed.

I need a second!

....to absorb that weapon inventory. Tell Duncan I'm impressed. I'd appreciate it if he'd wear the kilt, as well. It would make our team look more professional.

I'll consider the armaments separately and get back to you.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Gayle. Hopefully I'll see you next time.

Steve, you and Sandy are now on the list.

Marsha, you could opt for a traditional Kligon bat'leth, I saw a news story where a gas station was robbed with one just last week.
I'm not sure if one would need a second with this particular weapon or not.
Though I'm sure Duncan would be a whiz at this, too.

No, I don't think a second would be warranted because I don't believe there's any chance of either party surviving a bat'leth battle.

I plan on coming too, so the Paramedical side is covered...more or less....how long has it been since I was on an ambulance? I hope it is like riding a bike.... 8)

Well I'm a PG so I could help out a bit...I could always "borrow" a unit since HQ is just up the road lol  I'm sure between the three of us we could manage! (though I do agree about the bat'leth but then I do know a couple of coroners...)

I'll go ahead and throw a time out I guess. How does 6 sound? Does that give you enough time Gary, and is that too close/too far from tip off for anyone's liking?

When our station used to frequent Flabby's Saturday night chicken extravaganza, it would fill up early. You might think about 4:00 PM as this gets our crowd in and out of a small place with plenty of time for a walk, a brew somewhere else or other event that some of the crowd may have. I can't remember is chicken is an all day thing or not. Insufficient memory.

Thanks for asking, Paul, 6 should be just fine- though Ed's suggestion for earlier is good too. I'm only going to 4th and Bway so I figure an hour and a half to eat, 15 minutes lost in Germantown (it seems to be what I do), and I'll get to the theater on time.
