Mike and I would love to go, but I know we can't make it November 1 (charity event that night). When we visited, we remarked how great it would be to go with a big group and try a bit of everything. It might not be a practical suggestion, but I would prefer a weekday night (like a Wednesday). No big deal though, if it doesn't work out, we'll catch you at the next offline.

Would also love to go, but Saturday nights don't work because of weddings. :(

I alluded to this in the Red Pepper thread in the forum, but I would suggest doing something like this during the week. I get the sense that the young girl who waits tables, the woman who seems to run the place, her husband and the occasional hostess are the only FOH people they have. The past couple of Fridays I've eaten there they've been slammed, and I'd rather have their full attention on a night when the place is empty. JMHO

Neither November 1 or Saturdays in general are locked in, I just tossed it out to get the ball rolling. I'm leaving my old life on October 30 and starting a new one on November 3rd. After 26.5 years of having fun working a 24 hour shift I have to get a real job and work 8 hour days from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (that stinks!) which will take some getting used to. I know my off days for November are 1, 2, 7,10, 15, 16, 21, 24, 29, 30. If none of those dates are good I will sadly miss the feast but I'm sure it will be fantastic!

Any of those new dates (except November 1, which is an old date) works for me! :D

Both would work for Mary and me. If we go for the 2nd, though, we should make sure the regular chef works on Sundays!

I would not worry about it being slammed on a Friday or Saturday ... if we can reserve the private room for a group, I expect they'll treat us very well.

There's no way I can attend that first weekend. The 7th is good for me, as is the 10th.

I'll be in Pittsburgh for the UofL game on the 7th. If I am unable to make the Red Pepper offline, so be it. I know how difficult it is to pick a date that suits everyone's schedule.

With regrets to Doogy, the 7th seems to me to be shaping up as the consensus pick. I assume we all agree that we're talking about evening?
