I won't try to say I'm not spooky or scary...

But I hardly would think any of you guys would say 24 is old. :?

I wouldn't as I'm old enough to be your father!

Just to keep this on track...
I would love for all participants to "sort of" sign in here on the FORUM because I have procured a limited number of Free Tickets to the Bats Game following the tasting.....

Mouseketeer Role Call Sound Off Now!!!

1.Me (Chef Dan representing Father's Bacon)
2.Marsha...You've talked enough smack to make your presence felt!
3.Ethan...Lord only knows what you've come up with
4.Bret...Come Out, Come Out where ever you are!
5.Stephen D....Another person with that AdriGranDufrenese way of thinking about food. I look forward to meeting you!
6.Bowman...Are you really gonna cure your own?

If I've left anyone out or if you don't think you can make it then PLEASE let us know before hand.

Also, there is always room for any one else to try to step up to the power that is Father's Bacon!!!!!!

Clancy, that means you!!!! (there will probably be a couple of beers involved)

I don't know if I'll be attending the Bats game following the competition...
but i am going to try and stir things up a bit in regards to the "definition" of a BLT.

Rest assured, I'll be representing Alan Benton's Smoked Country Bacon, in addition to giving you guys some French toast, ice cream, and hopefully some carefully manipulated heirloom tomatoes from my own backyard (if they ripen in time)...

...And this isn't going to be dessert.
Savory, untested (currently)... and going to turn the BLT upside down; figuratively speaking.

I'm interested to see what my comrade in arms -Stephen- comes up with.

In lieu of my own backyard tomatoes I'm going to substitute/supplement with heirloom tomatoes grown by Kathy Nelson of Oakwood Mushrooms in Rineyville, KY (just outside of E-town), whom supplies the Oakroom with the most incredible micro greens, mushrooms and organic vegetables. My "L" will also be sourced from Kathy as well.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

If you can get Chef Dave to walk through the door, I'll buy your beers and his!
