Clancy, that means you!!!!
I don't know if I'll be attending the Bats game following the competition...
but i am going to try and stir things up a bit in regards to the "definition" of a BLT.
Rest assured, I'll be representing
Alan Benton's Smoked Country Bacon, in addition to giving you guys some French toast, ice cream, and hopefully some carefully manipulated heirloom tomatoes from my own backyard (if they ripen in time)...
...And this isn't going to be dessert.
Savory, untested (currently)... and going to turn the BLT upside down; figuratively speaking.
I'm interested to see what my comrade in arms -Stephen- comes up with.
In lieu of my own backyard tomatoes I'm going to substitute/supplement with heirloom tomatoes grown by Kathy Nelson of Oakwood Mushrooms in Rineyville, KY (just outside of E-town), whom supplies the Oakroom with the most incredible micro greens, mushrooms and organic vegetables. My "L" will also be sourced from Kathy as well.
