Trying to find property ownership info...

Does anyone know how i go about finding out who owns a property/house? all i have is an address.

Is the property in Indiana? If so, many of the counties have a data base (GIS) with this information readily available. For example, for Harrison County Indiana Google "GIS Hamilton County Indiana". Otherwise, a call or visit to the Assessor's office should do the trick as I don't believe all counties in Indiana are on GIS yet..

Bill, yes in Indiana, actually Floyd County as the address is in Floyds Knobs. I tried their site, but i dont think they have the info online. I am guessing i might have to go to the assessor's office.

As far as I know, this information is Public.

Give these guys a call. They'll probably just look it up & tell you. It's a public record.

In Jefferson County Kentucky go to pvalouky.org and click on property search. Type in the address and it will give you the owner and assessed tax value.
