Thienimen's Greenhouse

by Carla G » Mon Mar 08, 2010 7:43 am

Just checked this place out Friday for the first time. WOW !! What a fantastic greenhouse. Well, actually the greenhouse was pretty standard the succulents found inside were amazing. I only had a few minutes to tour through one of the green houses but what I did see was wonderful.( I was there for business related things and not specifically for plant purchasing so I'm not sure about pricing.) Part of what I saw was the owner's private collection, some for sale, others not. I used to live with a florist and thought I had seen a pretty extensive amount of various and hard to find succulents but what I saw Friday were extraordinary. Beautiful and fantastic living things that were so odd they were almost like creatures. I spoke with some of the staff and all were very knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise. The visit made my day. I understand they will have heirloom tomato days in April. I am so there.

Let's see if I remember right, on Blowing Tree right off Taylorsville Rd right where The back side of Houston Acres is. Drive it all the way to the end.
