This is soooo funny. I had the best Massage today, and I was going to get online and wax poetic about the wonderful time. And here is a link about it already in place!
A Friend of mine got me a gift certificate, and I finally got to use it.
I went to Le Bliss salon in the Vogue center in St. Matthews. Deep tissue, fantastic, and then I went to Pie kitchen for a slice of chocolate cake.
What an absolutely indulgent day!

I've had several massages at the Baptist Wellness Center/Gym Oasis Spa and they were really very relaxing. And I've had several at Josephs that weren't really all that relaxing. One where I could hear everything going on in the spa, one where the girl talked the whole freaking time. But the worst one there was where they put me in a room where they normally do the water massages and it was very cold. I only went there since I was given gift certs. So now I ask for them at Baptist.

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

The Lago Mar Resort & Club, in Ft Lauderdale - they have a great spa (well, you didn't restrict it to Louisville)...

Locally, Z's, Fritz's, also check Fox Hollow Farms (in Oldham County)...they used to have a very good spa, with some great packages - wonderful setting in the country.

I had one at Baptist Milestone, and it was pretty good, but the surroudings weren't all that "zen." I felt like I was getting a massage just down the hall from a ginormous gym, which I was.

My wife and I had a couples' massage at Z's, and it was wonderful.

Never had one at Fritz's, but if your husband is at all shy about "spa's," Fritz's would be good since it's a salon and spa for men.
