Boy, that's a tough question. Mary and I both read a lot, and having the Crescent Hill branch library nearby (with the LFPL's Website making it easy to order any book in the system and have it delivered to Crescent Hill). Between us we usually have 10 or 12 books out at any given time (some of which go back unread or incompletely read if they don't pan out). Almost entirely fiction for her. About half-and-half for me. We mostly use the library in preference to bookstores (sorry, locals), but since I discovered that the FREE iPhone iKindle applet is almost as easy to read as the full-size $300 Kindle, I've been buying more $9.99 Kindle books than I really need. All non-fiction, so far.
Movies? Maybe one or two Netflix a week, and trips to Baxter or Tinseltown maybe a half-dozen times a year, usually to catch a really interesting new film that either seems like it would be great on the big screen or that's too interesting to wait for the DVD.
I'm not sure I could pull it down to a numerical ratio, but I'd say heavy consumption of books and lighter consumption of movies, but we enjoy both.
