Where to buy a Christmas tree?

by Brad Keeton » Tue Dec 01, 2009 12:22 pm

I didn't want to combine this with the other thread. Any recommendations of a good place to buy a tree that's already been cut. Our time is VERY limited this weekend, but we're trying to squeeze in getting a tree and setting it up. The closer to the Highlands or Crescent Hill, the better.

Thanks.

Try Paul's Fruit Market.

Brad - Otte Nursery on Bardstown Road is next to Assumption High School, and they both have tree lots, so if you don't like your choices at one you can walk next door and try the other.

Unless it has changed the Assumption trees were actually Boy Scouts of St Raphael. I always bought one there to support the scouts. Not cheap, but a good cause.

The Church on Brownsboro Road (close to Blankenbaker), sorry forgot it's name!
Their scout troop sells Christmas trees.
Whole foods had some really good lookin' trees, outside.
