I had no idea this was Heather's father. My heart goes out to you Heather. You can be proud of the wonderful fun and music your father brought into the world and generously shared with others.

Mr Fish was somewhere watching the "going away" party he wanted on tuesday. An incredible amount of people came to give him the send off he wanted, and deserved. Steve made a huge impact on so many people, myself included, and his family are the best people. My heart is with Heather, Alison, Matthew, and the extended family. Steve is already greatly missed.

How sad! I just saw him perform this summer at the State Fair. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am just back at work today and online again after taking a few days off. Thank you all so much for the kind words. My dad was a very special person and I know how lucky I am to have recordings, great photos and interviews from over the years.

And a HUGE thank you to Paula B for hosting his party at Park Place. It was a great party and just what he wanted. Thanks again.....

Now I have even more motivation to keep the Jug Band Jubilee going.

I am so sad to hear this news! Heather, we are sending prayers in sincere heart-felt sympathy for you and your family. I know this is a very difficult time, having lost my own father. And around the holidays makes it that much more difficult, I'm sure. He was soooo fun to watch and listen to, and will be sorely missed. You were truly blessed to have such a wonderful man in your life, as were we.

Thank you so much Kim. This is without a doubt the hardest thing I/we have ever had to deal with. Got sick and skipped thanksgiving all together. Can't even bring myself to think about Christmas.
