Recent examples I remember seeing, a microwave for over a hundred bucks and an old cabinet type stereo with an eight track for over two hundred.
Part of the reason we go to thrift stores is we tear up clothes pretty bad. The greenhouse is tough on stuff and our other work (fireworks) turns everything black and sooty. I wear Levis and can usually find them for five bucks or less, that works for me.I know some folks would rather get new from an online mass merchant and wait around for a good deal or coupon, but thats not our style. In addition I go around and look for other item to resell on ebay. Just last week I picked up a very nice heavy copper Maurviel sauce pan for a song. Not sure if Im going to keep that one or resell. I guess thats a big part of the thrift store appeal, you never know what you might find. Plus Anne is always looking for a raspberry beret, you know... like the ones you find in a second hand store.

From Bardstown Road, you turn off onto Douglass Blvd. and quickly turn right to go down an alley to get to One for All's parking lot. (Somebody clarify this if I'm not getting it right)
I have found One for All's clothing selection to be incredibly good, especially shirts. Of course, I'm talking about men's clothing. And I felt like many of the prices were a steal. And what's especially nice is that their proceeds go to HIV/AIDS-related charities.
I hope everyone checks them out.
