Looking for a promotion for AAA ....

I know we have some savvy deal/coupon people here.... (calling out annemarie !!! )
I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap promotions for joining AAA. I always get that letter in the mail where it is 38 bucks per person. Well, now that i need it, they are not sending it. I called and they say that it is 121 for the first person to join. I don't need the frills, just a basic basic membership.

if anyone knows of a code i can use, or a place that is offering cheap AAA membership..... i would appreciate a heads-up....

i don't know if you've been a member before, becky, but AAA is totally worth it. i have a bad habit of locking my keys in the car and my stepdad has an even worse habit of running out of gas at least once every 60 days or so (yes we give him all kinds of hell for it). also, you can use it to help out other people in trouble as long as you are on the scene. you'll get discounts on everything from dining out to aquarium admission. my parents used to buy my membership when i was a young driver, but as of now i'm not a member. i plan on using one of the codes and re-upping myself. thanks annemarie!
