take his belt off, show a little butt crack and get in there and do it himself.

If it's me I'd tell my son to take his belt off, show a little butt crack and get in there and do it himself.
Seriously, unless you've got some other plumbing issues faucets are pretty darn simple to install. The folks at Lowe's or Home Depot are pretty good about walking you through such things. Heck, I'm no plumber but I've managed to put in more than a few faucets over the years. To my credit most of 'em didn't leak once I was done
