Asphalt Driveway Sealing

I was thinking of tackling this job myself, but I have heard from some friends that it is not that much more to have a pro do the job. I have some cracks in the driveway that need attention as well. I am a little leery of some of the guys that drive around and drop off their ads. Do you guys have any recommendations?
