looking for long-sleeved t-shirts

by Jessica Devine » Mon Jul 06, 2009 4:10 pm

Does anyone know a local retailer selling light-weight long sleeved t-shirts for cheap? Doug is required to wear them at work and is melthing in his thermal. The shirts are ruined after about a week so I'm looking for several.

I've checked Target, Walmart, Dicks, and Shaheens.

Thanks!

What type of work does he do? You say they are ruined after a week, so i am thinking that they do not have to be a specific type or brand new. I would suggest a thrift store. My husband works on construction sites, he is an electrician, and at first i would buy him new shirts. After a week or two they were awful, so i just bought him A LOT of shirts at thrift stores. If and WHEN they do get ruined, i don't feel too bad about it.

Of course he was never able to live down his blue "Johnson Family Reunion" shirt.

Doug is an electrician too. I hadn't thought of thrift stores--I'll give that a try. Thanks, Becky!

That's so funny--I had checked their site before I posted my original question. I may call them and get a price, but I am afraid that they use a higher quality shirt like American Apparal that would be more expensive. Thanks!

Annemarie, I saw that site myself when I googled long-sleeved t-shirts, but I was kind of hesitant to enter my credit card info on a site that I'm not familiar with. With that said, the shirts are really inexpensive. Do you know anything about the company?

Can't think of anyone locally, off the top -- but check the LL Bean website...I think they sell long-sleeve T's and their prices aren't too bad....

Also try http://www.kopilot.net/. Kopilot is a local screenprinter and I have always been very happy with their work. If you tell Priscilla exactly what you need, she might be able to help you out!!
