Meeting Space

by Jeremy Markle » Tue Jun 23, 2009 4:07 pm

I'm looking for a nice space to hold a casual business meeting for 6-8 artsy colleagues where they can bring in their own food (potluck style). Any ideas?

Jeremy, check with Nimbus at Ray's Monkey House in the Highlands. They have a perfect space with a conference table - I'm not sure about bringing in outside food, though.

My apologies to Nimbus and staff if I've spoken out of turn.

Eclipse Bank in St Matthews (where the old White Castle was) lets people use their meeting room and they have a nice kitchen too

You might check into the Green Building at 732 East Market (where 732 Social is). It is a 110-year old storefront that Gill Holland (local film producer) and his wife have renovated using all the environmentally-friendly options they could incorporate. It is beautifully done and your group might find it very interesting. They have some meeting space that is available to the public and I'm not even sure if they charge for it. 561-1162.
