needing a hair salon

by Nadine Kasper » Sat May 23, 2009 8:15 pm

hi everybody, this is the first time I have ever wrote or posted anything. I am in a bind. I recently got my hair done at Lyndia WIllis Salon on Brownsboro. It was a mess. It was nothing that I wanted. I have a wedding in Cleveland this weekend and I need someone to fix it. I was hoping someone knows a place that has a good rep at fixing other peoples mistakes.

I've been going to Z Salon since I moved here 4 years ago, and have been very happy. I am extremely particular about my hair, and was pretty worried about moving and finding a new place. Tara Tobin cuts my hair, and Johnna is great with color.

I have also heard that Allison Laipply at Joseph's Salon is very good (disclaimer: her mom is a friend of mine, but her hair always looks great! LOL).

Good luck!

Christopher Avery at Shear Artistry is fantastic! He did hair and makeup for Friday Night Lights, and on several movies in Hollywood before he moved back to Kentucky. He's young, fun, and priced incredibly reasonably. Louisville's best kept secret! The # at Shear Artistry is 454-5050. They're on Baxter Ave.

Twisted is a great salon. I've been going to Trina for about 9 years and I've always been happy. It's on St. Matthews Ave close to Trinity.

Glad that they were able to improve the situation for you. I've always gone to Trina, but I know that David (the owner) is wonderful and Jessica is always busy, too.
