Car Seat Checks

Does anyone know where we can DEFINITELY get our car seat installed properly? We're having a very difficult time getting it tight enough in both cars. (It's an infant seat that has two separate bases.)

We were told that all of the fire stations did it, but we have discovered that's not true.

You might also call the Sheriff's office. I recall that some of thier volunteers did it. The only FD I remember doing the checks was Midldetown and it has been a few years..... I will ask around with my contacts.

I believe Kosair Hospital will help you install in your car. As a grandmother, I was stunned how hard the new car seats are to install, and wrestled for an hour to get it right w/ the help of 3 other people. Good luck!
