chow wagon

by Jeff T » Wed May 02, 2007 10:34 pm

Anybody think the prices and procedures at the chow wagon are a bit over the top. Wristbands, diffferent tickets for food and drink, not to mention extremely high prices for sub par food. My wife and i figured about $40 dollars got you 2 beers and 2 BBQ dinners. Who are the vendors? A complete rip-off!!

In no defence of the prices, but I believe the vendors are forced to pay their fees up front. In the event of bad weather, poor turnout or whatever the Derby Festival(city?) has their money and the vendors are left holding the bag.
