Free Wood/Firewood

by JustinHammond » Tue Feb 24, 2009 4:52 pm

I have some nice cut up wood for anyone interested. The logs are about 12" in diameter and 18"-24" long. They are in my front yard on Washburn Ave and can be picked up anytime. I was going to keep it for my fireplace, but have no room to store it. I just don't want it to go to waste if someone needs its.

There's some wood piled along the road in my neighborhood. Several hundred cords worth.

Sorry - couldn't resist...

I'm not telling you folks anything you don't already know but....
We drove down from Indianapolis and spent the last two days driving around a strip from Taylorsville, Crestwood, East side of L'ville, and then back across the river to Corydon, New Albany, Jeffersonville, Charlestown and North along the I-65 corridor North. Unbelievable amount of tree damage and debris on the roadsides. Amazing that the electricity is back on even now.
